Terms

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply to the VIP & Executive Event Readiness Review provided by Lindy Isherwood under the name Event Confidence ("I", "me"). By ordering the review you agree to them. Questions before you order: hello@eventconfidence.com.

What you are buying

A remote readiness review. I check the plans and documents you send me against each other and against my checklist, and I give you a Go/No-Go readiness report showing what is confirmed, what is outstanding, what the documents disagree on and which decisions are still open.

  • The review is done entirely remotely. I do not attend your event and nothing is verified on site.
  • I check what has been planned. I do not plan, manage or run your event, and every decision stays with you.
  • The report is based only on what you send me. I cannot report on what I have not seen.

Fee and payment

The fee is fixed and is stated in pounds sterling. The launch price is £950. The fee is paid before the review starts, using the payment details in my order confirmation. A later standard fee will not apply to an order I have already confirmed.

Timing

I aim to deliver the report within five working days of receiving complete documents. If your event is sooner, tell me before you order and I will say honestly whether I can meet it. If documents are missing or arrive late, the time starts when I have what I need.

Cancellation and refunds

  • If you cancel before I receive your documents, you receive a full refund.
  • Once I have received your documents and the review has started, there is no refund.

If I cannot deliver the review at all, you receive a full refund.

What the report is not

The report is not a security assessment, a risk certification, legal advice or a guarantee that your event will run without problems. It does not make an event compliant with any law, licence condition or regulation. You remain responsible for your event and for the decisions you take.

Your part

You agree to send documents you are entitled to share, to tell me about material changes to the event after you send them, and to take decisions on the findings yourself.

Limit of my liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for the review is limited to the fee you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Intellectual property

The Event Confidence name, logo, checklist and report format remain mine. You may use your own report inside your organisation and with your own clients and suppliers for the event concerned.

Your documents

How I handle what you send is described on the privacy page.

Changes

I may update these terms. The terms in force when I confirm your order are the ones that apply to it.
