This explains what I keep about you when you visit this website, email me or order a review. I am Lindy Isherwood, trading as Event Confidence, based in South Africa. Contact: hello@eventconfidence.com.

This website

The website has no account or login and does not ask you for any details. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages.

If you email me

I keep your name, organisation, contact details and the content of our emails so I can reply and, if you order, carry out the work. If you do not order, I delete your enquiry after six months, or sooner if you ask.

If you order a review

The plans and documents you send, which may include guest names and seating and security arrangements, are used only to carry out your review and to produce your report. I keep them for thirty days after I deliver the report and then delete them, unless you ask me to delete them sooner. I keep the invoice and payment record for as long as tax law requires.

If your documents contain other people's personal details, such as guest names, you are responsible for being entitled to share them with me for this purpose. Please send only what the review needs.

Who else sees your information

Email, file storage and payment services I use to run the business process data on my behalf. I do not sell your information and I do not use it for marketing to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it, by emailing hello@eventconfidence.com. I reply within seven working days. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
